Marlo, Primary Consultant

Marlo has twenty years experience in non-profit management and governance, working with diverse teams to deliver empowering programs and services.

As the former Executive Director at Head & Hands (2004-2011), a youth organization based in NDG, Marlo brings first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities that come with non-profit leadership while facing urgent needs in the community. The experience that she has cultivated from being on the Board at COCo (Centre for Community Organizations) and through the Leadership Rassembleur Executive training program (Centraide du Grand Montréal) has given her invaluable tools and insights into organizational capacity building. Marlo specializes in strategic planning, governance, fundraising, and process design & facilitation.

When she’s not consulting with non-profits, co-ops, foundations, coalitions and public sector teams, she volunteers for grassroots social justice movements including the Native Women’s Shelter and the Art Hives Network. Marlo founded Social Impact Consulting in 2015 and has worked with over 80 organizations on a range of projects since then.
